The Leroy R. Summerson Wastewater Treatment Facility is located on the Tioughnioga River in the city of Cortland, NY. Originally built in the late 1930’s to provide primary treatment to the City of Cortland, the plant now provides secondary treatment to the City of Cortland, Village of Homer, Village of McGraw, and much of the Town of Cortlandville.
